Discover the upper loop
The northern section of Yellowstone National Park is a revelation! Since Norris Geyser Basin straddles the Upper & Lower Loops, get your "Geyser Fix" on, because the terrain and features of this tour change dramatically. Although the Grand Canyon is classic Lower Loop, ask your guide to take a turn south at Canyon and Discover. Pick up in Gardiner Montana is easy access to the Upper Loop, but it can be accessed from any of our pick up areas.

Tour length is a minimum 8 hours in the park and with drive from Bozeman 12 hours, Big Sky 10 hours, West Yellowstone & Gardiner 8 hours.

Private Yellowstone Tours are NON-REFUNDABLE if cancelled inside 14 days prior to travel date/time.
Cancellation outside 14 days of travel date/time will be a 10% cancellation fee.

Could not have asked for a better trip to Yellowstone! Our guide Mitch went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. He accommodated each generation - those over 60, those over 40, and those under 10 with ease!!! Not an easy feat considering the 10+ hours spent in the park each day…
Day one was the Upper Loop. Day two was the Lower Loop. Mitch’s conversation was engaging, educational and humorous to boot. He is a safe driver, with the eyes of a hawk, easily spotting wildlife, while in the middle of telling Yellowstone history or stories. We learned so much while in his care. We accomplished all that we wanted to see on our trip (except the grizzly bear - but you can’t have it all in two days!). I would highly recommend you schedule your tour with Big Sky/Discovery Yellowstone and ask for Mitch!!

We had an incredible tour with Mitch! Our group of 22 (including 12 kids) specifically requested a guide who could engage with children and teach them about the park and wildlife—and Mitch exceeded our expectations. He was not only deeply knowledgeable and passionate about the area, but also flexible, accommodating our special requests, and funny! His stories and the knowledge he shared brought the park to life and helped create such special memories for our group of friends. A huge thank you as well to Bruce, our patient and skilled driver. It was such a relief to be able to fully relax and enjoy the experience without worrying about the road. One of our favorite days in Big Sky—thank you both! Lastly it was great to have the tour company arrange our breakfast and lunch meals. We had an early start so this made our day so much easier.

Great knowledge of the park, animals, plants, best time to see everything He had fun stories , advice and some not so fun stories to entertain us for 12 hrs. He even gave some great advice on restaurants and other activities out of the park. . Would definitely recommend Mitch and Big Sky Shuttle for your Yellowstone tours

I cannot say enough good things about Big Sky Shuttle (Discovery Yellowstone Tours) if you are planning a trip to Yellowstone. We had never been before and Danica helped us plan which loop would be best for what we wanted to see. We did the Lower Loop, which included waterfalls, Old Faithful and other geysers, and lots of animals. Mitch was our guide and he was so fun and SO knowledgeable about the park. He took us places we never would have thought of - like to be at Artists Point at a certain time when the sun was overhead so you can see the rainbow of colors in the mist. We were able to see wolves, elk, deer and bison. We opted in for the breakfast and lunch and they were both so yummy. These tours are well worth the money - it saves you from just wandering around the park not knowing which way to go first. We are planning a return trip to Big Sky next summer and will be using Discovery Yellowstone (and hopefully Mitch!!) for a tour of the Upper Loop. You will not be disappointed!

We did a 2 day Yellowstone tour. I can't even express how awesome this trip was. We had a private tour with our tour guide Mitch. He was so knowledgeable about the park and all the best things to see. In 2 days we saw 10 bears..elk..antelope..and so so so many bison. Our breakfast and lunch were provided as well. That being said I would recommend Big Sky Shuttle anytime...Plus as for Mitch. You will not be disappointed.
